HI. I’M BEN.

I’m a designer and creative director based in Bend, Oregon. I’ve spent over a decade building brands from top to bottom, from inside and out. Whether I’m on the sales floor, or the shop floor, curating complex stories, or in the trenches creating retail-ready content, I take pride in a hands-on, collaborative approach to creative problem solving. I’m a jack-of-all-trades kind of guy, but my core competenicies are summarized below:

Branding

• Building a brand is so much more than just an impactful logo. I’ve spent over a decade diving deep into the DNA of brand development and obsess over articulating every detail of your unique vision while bringing that to life.

Retail Design

• As both a graphic and industrial designer, I have helped some of the Nation’s largest retailers articulate their brand vision inside retail spaces. From packaging design, to wayfinding signage, to entire store interiors, I can help prepare your brand for success where it matters most - in front of your audience.

Illustration

• My background is in fine art, from studio paintings to community murals. As a lead designer for Whole Foods Market, I perfected the art of creating mouth-watering illustrations of any food product you can think of, and even some you can’t.

Copywriting

• Part of any brand message is - well - the message! I’ve spent my marketing career crafting on-brand messages that reach their target audience the first time, every time. From slogans to full length articles, I can help you find your voice, before sharing it with the world!

When I’m not plotting and scheming creatively, you can find me on my bike, in the woods, behind my drumkit, or watching The Expanse…again.
